BftC... I have mixed feeling about that one. I know everyone hates it with a passion, but I don't mind it that much. They mangled Jason's character (my main issue, as usual. I'm Jasonbsessed, I hope you'll forgive me...? ♥), but that was nothing new. And he proposed to Timmy a second time, so that makes BfTC a must read.
Oh, I love the Multiverses, too, and playing around with them is fun. I just found Countdown a lot confusing, and there were plotholes I couldn't make sense of (then again, maybe I just don't have the necessary knowledge. I'm primarily a Bat-fan, and though I like/admire lots of DCU characters, I never read all the books)

Sometimes I think DCU writers are insanely fond of killing of the "children" of the classic superheroes. See Lian. See Jason. See how they were going to kill Dick during the Crisis. See Kon. See BART. Donna's child. Etc.
I've grown fond of the Demon's spawn myself, but I'm with you when you say you don't want new characters popping up from nowhere to become the new generation of heroes. D:

I don't have it on my HD, it seems. :/ Googling around has yielded only a comment of Winnick about the upcoming B&R 23, but nothing about Earth-2 Jay D: Sorry. But I'll keep looking!

It's such a preeeeeetty baby~! <3

Awww, thanks. *proud-mommy faces inevitably ensue*
I was just about to scan another sketch, hopefully it'll be prettied-up and ready for posting soon...ish. ;)

I'm 100% Italian myself, but I know we have distant relatives living in America. Cousins of my grandfather that went to live there as kids, and now have these big, lovely families there. We aren't much in touch due to the great distance, but I met them once when I was small. :)

I studied English myself, though I had to go about it the hard way and study it on my own. :/ I'm not into Spanish or French, but I'd LOVE to learn Japanese! I find it a fascinating language, for a fascinating culture.

The one awesome thing is, like Italian, is said like it's spelled. None of this bullshit that English and French pull with silent letters! <3

THAT I like lots, too.

Rome is lovely, so I hope you get to go for your Fall semester. ;) And Italian verb tenses are like... a bane. Seriously. They're complicated like nothing else, nowhere are compartmentalized and clean-cut as English tenses. D: I'll let you in a secret: not even us Italians are that good with our tenses. *chuckles* But if you want to practice, we can exchange comments in Italian, instead than English! :D
