Kon wasn't quite ready to announce he was back from the dead quite yet, and he had sworn Bart to secrecy on the subject. That meant Kon maybe had a few days before Bart ran his mouth to Wally, and Wally ran his mouth to Clark. So, to avoid that stress, Kon decided to do his heroing where no one would understand him anyway.

“No need to fear, Superboy is here!” He paused before muttering. “Maybe that's a little overdoing it...”

He knocked the two bank robbers' heads together before handing them over to the cops. The cops spoke Spanish, so Kon just smile and nodded before flying off to do more good. Only, before he got much higher than the rooftops, he felt rope or something tie around him and pull him down.

Kon crashed into the roof as he broke out of the ropes, searching around for the culprit. “Hey! Show yourself!” he shouted as he remembered whoever it was probably didn't even speak English.

A caped man slipped out of the shadows with an angry glare, not saying a word as he attacked. Kon ducked some flying disks only for them to explode on him, knocking him to the ground. He had only been revived in the future maybe a day or two ago. He wasn't exactly at full strength, and he felt like he was fighting a bat.

“You're not allowed to wear that face,” the masked man growled, and Kon knew who it was immediately.

“Tim!” he announced, making Tim twitch as he tilted his head. “What's with the new costume?”

“It was necessary,” he stated succinctly, looking Kon over. “Prove you are who are.”

“Is your name not enough these day?” he asked, and only got a glare as his answer. “All right, all right. Back when we were on Teen Titans, before I got involved with Cassie, I asked you out, but you turned me down.”

Tim's lip twitched into a frown as he reached to help Kon up. “I thought you had been joking around,” Tim stated. “You never gave me a clue otherwise.”

Kon snorted. “Why would I give you a clue? You turned me down, man,” he said with a wave of his hand. “I always thought it was the Luthor thing, and that's why...”

Tim shook his head. “You're an idiot,” he muttered before grabbing the back of Kon's neck, pulling him into a hard kiss. “It wasn't a good time for me.”

“So, is now a good time?” Kon asked hopefully in a daze.

Tim winced and looked away. “I'm a lot more fucked up than you remember. You don't need to deal with it,” he decided, about to leave with that, but Kon gripped his arm.

“Let me be the judge of that,” Kon stated firmly before pulling Tim into a kiss, one that lasted much longer than the last one.
