comment_fic entry. Prompt: "DCU; Tim Drake/Steph Brown; Tim needs to be warmed up." Since it was a Bek request, I figured she wouldn't mind if I twisted it a bit. This Steph and Tim are from the World Without Young Justice world (Robin #101). Robin has a stalker. This stalker saved her life. She's sure this never happens to Batman. (Fuck, this might wanna be a 'verse. @_@)

How did she get into these situations? Steph bet Batman didn’t get into these kind of situations. Actually, she was with him about eighty percent of the time, so she was sure he didn’t get into these kind of situations. Batman would never have to be saved by someone he was trying to save. It just didn’t happen with him.
No, it only happened with her, Stephanie Brown, the first Girl Wonder, the second Robin. At least her savior was waking up, even though they were both shivering. She had managed to drag them to a Robin’s Nest. She probably should have brought him to Doc Leslie, but Steph did not want Batman finding out about this.
“R-Robin?” the boy croaked as he shivered from where she placed him on the couch. “Y-You’re okay.”
Steph almost laughed at that, running a towel through her short, wet hair; she was still soaked through because she didn’t have a spare Robin costume to change into, just civilian clothes, and she wasn’t going to add ‘blowing her secret identity’ to her list of fuck ups tonight. “I’m fine. You should worry about yourself!” she exclaimed. “Why did you jump into the bay after me? You could have gotten yourself killed!”
“I didn’t want you to d-drown,” he murmured before sneezing then violently shivering.
Trying not to just huff, Steph grabbed another blanket to wrap around him. “Okay, we’ll talk about this later. Let’s get you warmed up. Tim, right?”
“Y-yeah,” Tim said quietly. “I’m sorry for the trouble I’m causing you...”
Steph shook her head and brought a Robin grin to her lips. “No trouble here, stalker boy,” she replied as he gaped. “Oh, you think I don’t know about that? I remember last time we met, Timmy.”
“It’s Tim, not Timmy,” he muttered with another shiver.
With a giggle, Steph ruffled his wet hair. “Ooh, stalker boy has bite. Good,” she said with a wink. “I like a boy with some bite.”
Tim flushed, and Steph’s grin widened. “I-I...” he stuttered before sneezing again.
“Calm down, I was just trying to warm you up a bit,” she said, looking him over. “Though, I really think you should get out of those wet clothes.”
“I don’t have any extra clothes...” he mumbled, glancing up at Steph, his face still burning red. “You should get changed too.”
“No extra Robin costume, so I’ll deal,” Steph replied, “but I can get you a robe or something. I really doubt you’d wanna play dress up in my closet.”
Tim’s flush reddened, if it were even possible at this point. “You can just be you...” he said, wrapping the blanket tighter around himself, “...Stephanie.”
Steph’s eyes widened. “Hey! Where did you get that name?” she asked in shock. “How did- Nevermind, you’re wrong.”
“No, I’m not,” Tim stated firmly. “You’re Stephanie Brown, Bruce Wayne’s ward, who lives with him because-”
“Enough!” Steph nearly shouted, pulling down her mask angrily. “Yes, I’m Stephanie Brown. How about we don’t go into my life story, you freak.”
“I-I’m sorry,” Tim mumbled, shivering more violently now.
Steph cursed under her breath. “Right, save the boy from hypothermia then chew him out for being freaky stalker,” she muttered to herself as she wrapped her arm around Tim’s waist to get him to stand up. “C’mon, let me help you warm up.”
Tim nodded, leaning against her as they walked towards the bathroom without a word.
