Italian-styled Thanksgivings kick ass! First there's antipasto, which all I ate from that were stuffed olive which are amazing! Second we all sit at the table and get these big yummy raviolis! They were great! There wine somewhere in there, but I drank water since any soda there was diet.

Next was the actual turkey, yams, 2 different stuffings -- mushroom and sausage -- stuffed mushrooms and this stuff that had marshmallow-y stuff on top. (I didn't touch that...) Soon after the eating was done, they brought out the roasted chestnuts and other assorted nuts.

Then it was dessert time! There was lemon meringue, pineapple something pie, pumpkin pie, apple pie, and mini baba. Apple pie for me! And mini baba! My mommy made the mini baba! For those who don't know what babas are they look big cupcakes (in this cake, mini big cupcakes because my mommy made the cute ones) soaked in rum. Rummy! They were so soaked that the rum soaked my apple pie. Hehehe, rum apple pie!

There was espresso and decaf American coffee with dessert. Bah, decaf! I got espresso! I dipped the mini baba in it after adding a few teaspoons of sugar. MUWAHAHA! SUGAR HIGH! And the rum-ness! TUTTE SONO UMBRIACHI! >>;; (Translation: All are drunk! [It's a word I learned in Italy this summer, hehehe])

During some of time, we were sitting and people were watching football. Icky! I listened to Gravitation music and I was drumming along. (Damn you, Alex!) I brought along my drawing stuff and drew a moonlit beach scene with a lone girl looking to the ocean. There's clouds and wind and cherry blossoms blowing across the moon! (I'm good at drawing the cherry blossoms blowing but not the tree. ;-;)

I switched CDs at some point and listened to the 'Tenchi Muyo' CD Kerri-chan gave me. Silly, Kerri-chan! It's not J-pop when it's the English dubbed songs! But I liked it so, yeah. At least it's not as silly as when she tried to pronounce 'heretic' and it sounded like it rhymed with 'diabetic' when it doesn't.

Hehehehe... Well, that was my Turkey Day. The baby wasn't there so I was sad about that but my aunt french braided my hair so now I'm happy! Happy whatever is left of Turkey day and Happy shopping on Black Friday!

w00t!! sounds hot.

"desert" is that really dry place full of cacti. i think u meant "dessert"

and the thing with marshmallows was probably sweet potatoes of some sort, cuz we had that too. only my cousins and i just kind scrapped the marshmallow off the top and left the rest there. IT WAS GOOD! you should have had some.

anyway it sounds hot, so score for Glor
