Eddie issue! Ahh, Eddie, stop doubting yourself, honey. So, Cassie brought in Kid Eternity to listen in on the convo Eddie, Jaime and Cassie were having about how Eddie pretty much signed his soul away for his powers. Eternity brings Eddie to hell to find the contract he 'signed.'

Well, apparently it was never signed. Silly Eddie. Then some shit happens, and they leave. Though, I kinda want Eddie/Kid Eternity. >>;; After that, I just can't help but go what the fuck over the Origins & Omens part of the issue. Cassie, Eddie, and Jaime are meeting in Tim's lab (that still has Superboy's 'costume' on display). Having a talk and Jaime even lets Cassie see his face and know his identity. He's so proud of the secret identity thing, the woobie. (Makes me want Eddie/Cassie/Jaime, >>;;)

Okay, that wasn't what made me go what the fuck. What made me go what the fuck was the 'foreshadowing' pics! Cassie/Jaime kiss (!?!?!), Kid Flash outfit coming out of a ring (BART!!!!), Rose over Cassie threatening her with a broken sword (uh, not surprised, like at all), a corpse with Eddie's hair and clothes (no!!!!), and a shadowed obviously pregnant chick (WTF!?!?!? It looks like Cassie or Rose, but huh!?!) And not so important but warrants a mention, Static Shock is their future.

Oh god, one I clicked the post button, I thought it could be M'gann too! Argh, that silhouette and the Jaime/Cassie kiss is what freaked me out most.

None of the girls are in relationships, nor are any of the close to again guys to fuck, really. So, it's either gonna be a one-night stand baby or rape. Or it's some chick that we don't, hence don't care. >>;;

I worry that there are A LOT of ways to turn a one night stand or rape baby into a plot that makes M'gann turn evil like the writers seem semi-determined to try and do.

(I keep praying that the evil self being PART of her now changes things and makes her more aware so that she fights off that eventual descent better. I'm gonna be so mad if she becomes a villian.)

Ugh, this why DC can't have nice things. They make nice things evil or dead or both. They killed Bart, and he was like the purest thing ever (though, he's back, so yay!) Martian Manhunter was pretty awesome, and they killed him. Mary Marvel was as goody-goodie, as you get and they turned her evil. *shakes head*

Don't get me wrong, I sort of love M'gann's little war with her evil inner self in some ways - it's interesting - but there's a reason I'm RPing her on a community where I got to retcon the fuck out of her history so that her base personality and being a white martian are practically the only things from canon that made it into the new mix. >_>

I think the as a whole, the Future evil Titans storyline was idiotic. All it brought was more angst and no answers. And every time they show up, their stories about the future are different. If they're really the future, it would be set in stone, so to speak. @_@

It's saving grace for me was the fire shield thing on Evil!M'gann because, well, you know how my ships roll. All I could think was 'A fireproof force field? You're so sleeping with Evil!Red Devil!' which made me laugh so hard I just about died.

And, well, I think them being from the future and the interference with the past CHANGING their futures kind of makes more sense than it being 'set in stone'.... however they must have known they would alter things, possibly not in their favor, so why would they try in the first place!?! Argh! >_<

(Also, hahah, thank you re: the LJ name but I'm more proud of the ones I came up with for Brenda and Jericho. shes_intense and make_contact respectively.)
