In the Teen Titans, there was an unwritten rule. If you got pranked by a fellow Titan, payback was totally allowed and encouraged. At first, it applied to all five original Titans, but eventually it evolved into something that just belonged to Robin and Speedy, and everyone knew it. Once it became Robin and Speedy's, Wonder Girl, Kid Flash, and Aqualad knew better than to interfere.

This usually meant when the rest of the Titans left the Titans' Cave once the pranks escalated to incredibly insane levels. Once alone, unbeknownst to the Titans that had beat a hasty retreat, Robin and Speedy stopped their inane pranks and shared secret grins before racing each other to the bedroom to have some alone time to be as loud as they want.
