  • (omitted) as a Counselor in Training (2002-2003)

  • (omitted) as a Junior Counselor then a Senior Counselor (2004-2007)

  • Comics and More, Montgomery Mall (2008-2009)

 

Qualifications:

 

  • I worked for 10 months at a comic book store called Comics and More in the Montgomery Mall, so I have a good grasp on how comic book stores run.

  • Before my previous job, I worked with kids at a day camp for four summers, six including two years of training

  • Not only do I have a good chunk of comic book knowledge, I'm also knowledgeable about manga and video games. (e.g. I own at least three hundred manga, and I've played many RPGs, some fighting games, and some comic book based games.)

  • If there's anything I don't know, I'm a pretty quick study. (e.g. I've only be reading DC Comics for about a year, and I know a good amount of information from all the different series.)

 

Availability:

     

  • I'm available every day except Monday and Thursday since those are my class days this semester.

Your qualifications look good! I'm not sure about the format, though--in the resumes I've seen, detailed information is included about each job (including anything that can be finagled to sound relevant to the job you're looking for), and the information you put in Qualifications would go under either Employment History or in a cover letter.

I have no idea how formal a resume they're looking for, though--if this format works, I'd suggest putting more details about what you did in other jobs. Saying exactly what you did in the other comic store, for example, would show them how much you already know how to do. IM me if you want to see my resume for an example. :)

It should probably be more detailed, and the format is a bit off. If you have Mircrosoft Word, you can download templates for resumes which make the whole thing a lot easier.

Other than that, looks good!

P.S I feel like I should mention to be careful when sending me CDs, because technically what you're doing is highly illegal and I don't want you to get into trouble <3
