7 years ago today, according to fanfiction.net, I joined the fanfic scene. So, 7 years ago is when I started writing fic. I've definitely gotten better since then. Thank you god. My writing and stories back then were fucking atrocious!

Now that we're on the subject, since it's September, I'm pretty sure I've been in DC Comics fandom for over a year now. This is the fandom I've stayed in consistently the longest without leaving. That's kinda awesome since I tend to jump fandoms when I find the next shiny new thing.

And knowing me now, I'm sure you'd all guess that Jason's my reason for this fandom. Sure, he is NOW, but originally, I skimmed Countdown as my first trades since I'm pretty sure my manager told me there were handcuffed boys in there.

Yes, I started reading because Piper and Trickster. After that, Jason definitely was the forefront of everything. XD

And back to my old fanficcing days. Can you guys believe I used to be a homophobe? Yeah, I know, right? It led to bad het and many a Mary Sue. That's why homophobia is terrible. XD No really, I blame living under a rock because of my grade school. Ah well. All better now.

So, 7 years. Shall I celebrate or something?

...you know, I always miss my fandom anniversary because I always forget to check it. Maybe I should celebrate now anyway. It's only a week later than my first DCU fic which I consider the first fic that counts because before that I didn't really get it.

Also, it is 09/09/09. This is cool.

I checked mine a while ago while I was on my ff.net account for something and noticed this year it would be 09/09/09. And that is made of awesome for a 7 year anniversary! Since the date is awesome, that's probably the only reason I remembered it. >>;;

I had some fandoms before DCU that mattered. They just need a little work, is all. ^-^ Hmm, I should look up my LJ anniversary...

EDIT: 10/13 will be my five year LJ anniversary. Sweet. XD *goes to check if that's a Friday the 13th, >>;;* Nope, it's just a Tuesday. XD

I joined FF.net in January of 2002 with Harry Potter fics that still haven't been finished. I took a loooooong haitus because I don't know . . . maybe I needed to grow up. I was always slashy at heart - I definitely can't see your Mary Sueing it up. I absolutely cannot and methinks this is a good thing.

Lol, I have a bunch of Potter fics that aren't finished either. Though, by that point, I stopped posting any chaptered fics I wasn't sure I'd finish. :/
