Coming back to normal life after being dead for almost two years kind of sucked, but at least he got to save cute red heads from evil doers trying to make said cute red head fall off the trapeze mid-act. Of course, Kon had only gone as a civilian when the circus came to town, but Superboy came to the rescue.

He saved the red head and knocked the shooters out with his a punch or three as he flew the red head to safety. “So,” the red head started, who oh definitely wasn't a girl from that voice, oops, “did they give you a name along with all those rippling pectorals?”

Kon snorted as he put the red head acrobat safely to the ground. “Superboy, at your service. I didn't catch your name though.”

The red head laughed. “Really? It's only on all the signs in the circus,” he said as he pointed to one of the said signs behind Kon.

“The Amazing Flying Jason Todd,” Kon read aloud before turning back to Jason, rubbing his head. “Guess I kinda missed that.”

Jason laughed again, which was a sound Kon was definitely starting to like. “I guess signs like that are easy to miss when you can really fly,” Jason said, smiling. “Being able to fly like that anytime you want must be amazing!”

“It really is,” Kon answered with a smile, offering Jason a hand. “Wanna fly with me since the bad guys are all knocked out?”

Jason pretended to take a moment to think about before grabbing Kon's hand enthusiastically before they took off to the skies.
