I kinda really don't want this Red Hood in Batman and Robin to be Jason. I'd actually really like it if DC thought before they touched they're characters. Oh, and yes, I've finished my Batman and Robin boycott. :/ Yeah, it was short lived, but I may go back to it. ...though, I kinda like Scarlet. Poor thing. Still not endeared to Damian, which makes me happy. *sighs*

Yeah, well. Jason was the obvious answer from the beginning. :\ And it really is just so...right. Especially his rant to Scarlet about revenge on a crazy man in a mask. I'm....looking forward to it, actually. Of course, I'm half asleep because I need to leave in 30 minutes, but. I'm hoping they have fun with him. Though, if it is, plz to be giving him the sexy lollipop head back. This red stick head is kind of snicker worthy. I can make many dildo jokes

Yeah. Obviously. Meh. I don't like the characterization yet. It's doing that almost there but not quite that BftC did, and I dunno if I can go through that again without giving myself an ulcer. >>;; ...I care too much.

heh. well, i'd like for them to follow up with it. i can see the natural progression, but i'm like it to be smoother, more linear. possibly in this, jason's on the upswing of the cycle. who knows. i am just waiting to see how this plays out. and hey, there's always fan fiction to placate us.

Oh he totally is, but in that terrible new costume. :/ ...I kinda like the dynamic with the side kick, though. Scarlet needs hugs.

I loved it personally. The mannerisms, the parternal relationship and the scene with the bad guys couldn't have been more ItH if he'd shoved a bag of heads on the table.

Something bugged me about it. Like it was close to being right, but something was really bothering me. I dunno, that might be residule bitterness from BftC. :/ I did like him and Scarlet. <3

It was like a transition back to Jaybird, from that. It just felt more like UtH than we've seen since Geoff Johns wrote him. The allusions to her being hurt shouldn't stop her from fighting back, his bitchiness with Dick and the mania that was a press release? Jason tends to be very Jokery when he's getting manic so it's all really interesting and I think this whole arc will be nice to see. I'm timidly hopeful of there being an awesome here.

Ok SOOOOOOO glad it was not just.
I mean I wanted it to be Jason last comment and then I think it IS but now he's like summarizing EVERYTHING I HATE IN COMICS.

Why is making speeches endorsing everything I hate in comics ;_;
Thus far though I'm not ready to bail on it, and it at least fits with Jason's philosophy . .. (which to be honest I sorta side with to a certain degree, it at least has merit but noooooooo they have to make him all crazy!pants *sigh*)

I think that's part of why I enjoyed writing the Dick Bucky fic.Make Dick deal with the killing philosophy when it's not being sprouted by crazy!Jason *sigh* *pets Jason.* It's not your fault you are badly written.

or hell Bendis. Bendis can write characters. Plot sometimes escapes the poor man, but he does characters well.

And yeah there was something about Jason trying to get the correct wording for the press release that turned me off.

I'm all about him killing people to prove Bruce wrong/get attention/whatever, but he the press release and the "edgier" angle, like the self-aware trying to be big and tough and mean . . . I didn't like how that came off. I'm not sure it was totally OOC or anything. I think Jason would want people to see what he was doing and have them agree with him and further prove vindicate his point against Bruce's ways, but . . . it kinda sounded like a crazy studio exec pushing a plot for a movie blockbuster or something. I don't know.
