comment_fic for Bek. Prompt: "DCU; Tim Drake (Robin III)/Roy Harper (Red Arrow); tonight's the night." Roy had big plans, and nothing was going to ruin it. (Why was this one longer than all the other fics I wrote this weekend? >_<;; Ugh.)

Roy had it all planned out. Lian would be staying over a friend's house. Ollie was busy with Dinah, so he wouldn't be stopping by unannounced. Dick even made sure Tim had off tonight. Everything was perfect.
Now, all he need was Tim, so he could wine and dine him. Except, Tim was no where to be found. Roy waited for an hour, dinner was cold, and he was getting worried. Well, until he heard a tap at his window. Roy ran over and to open the window only to have Robin tumble into his arms.
“Tim!” Roy exclaimed, quickly bringing Tim over to the nearby couch. “What happened?”
“Long story,” Tim muttered with cough, noticing the uneaten romantic dinner set up a little ways over. “...was this supposed to be a date not a patrol?”
Roy stared at Tim for a moment, almost incredulously. “Yes, Tim, this was supposed to be a date. Why else would I have gone to the trouble of getting Nightwing to cover in Gotham for you tonight?” he asked as he bent down and took out one of the first aid kits that was hidden under the couch.
Tim frowned. “Oh I...” he trailed off, offering a apologetic smile. “I guess that got a little lost in translation?”
Roy snorted as he opened the Robin tunic to patch the various wounds Tim had received. “Obviously. Gonna tell me what happened?” he asked as he cleaned a wound at Tim's side.
“Got in the middle of a gang fight. I had only meant to take on a few of them to confuse the gang members a bit, but I made a misstep,” Tim told him, not wincing. “New York's a bit different than Gotham...”
“A bit of understatement, Tim,” Roy stated, noticing the wounds weren't as bad as they could have been. “You got lucky.”
Tim made a face then reached for his belt, took out some adhesive remover, and carefully used to take off his mask, bright blue eyes looking up at Roy. “I'm sorry I missed our date,” he said sincerely looking over at the cold dinner on the table with the nice tablecloth and matching plates. “...was there something else that was supposed to happen tonight?”
Roy grinned. “Well, had you been here, there would have been wining and dining, a good amount of making out before I asked you to move in,” he said, acting almost nonchalant about it, though it was clear he was serious.
Tim's eyes widened. “Really?” he asked getting a nod as his answer. “Yes.”
Now it was Roy's turn to be surprised. “You said yes,” Roy stated, and Tim nodded.
Roy's grin widened before he pulled Tim into a kiss. Tim was smiling as well as he kissed his soon to be roommate. When they pulled away from the kiss, they were both smiling a little goofily before Tim leaned up to whisper in Roy's ear. “So, what were your plans after wining and dining, making out, and asking me to move in?” Tim asked coyly.
“Oh, that's when we move to the bedroom after you said yes,” he answered, scooping Tim into his arms bridal style. “And that would be now, wouldn't it?”
Tim snorted as Roy carried him off to the bedroom, kissing his neck and shoulders as they went.
