kirax2. I wrote a plot bunny that had bit me because of her last Jason/Tim fic. Jason gets kidnapped by a crazy dude who wants to find Robin. Problem is, Robin must be college aged by now, so this kidnapping scheme was idiotic. Unfortunately, he wasn't the only kid this crazy picked up off the street this Halloween...

Who kidnapped kids on Halloween? Someone crazy, that's who, Jason thought. Okay, it was Gotham, so crazies were always abound, but this was ridiculous. This crazy was kidnapping a type, and Jason was unfortunately that type. A type that apparently was the same that Robin had been.
He had only been out tonight to Trick or Treat, because no street kid is going to turn down the chance for free candy, but the guy chloroformed him. When they got back to wherever the crazy dude was bringing him, Jason got an earful about how he was going to find Robin tonight. Jason didn't say anything, but he was pretty sure Robin was at least in college now. Kidnapping kids his age would just be stupid.
Luckily, so far, it seemed this guy was mostly talk, since it seemed that Jason was the only black haired, blue-eyed kid he seemed to have kidnapped. Unfortunately, the crazy man came back with another kid, tossing him in the room, muttering before locking the door behind him. Jason got up to see if the kid was okay.
“Are you okay, kid?” Jason asked, noticing the kid wasn't in costume, which was terribly weird on Halloween.
The kid looked up. “I- Um...yes,” he said quietly. “What happened?”
“That guy, he kidnapped us looking for Robin, apparently,” Jason told him, which made the kid frown, a lot.
“But Robin's nineteen now,” the kid stated, which made Jason furrow is brows.
“You know how old Robin is?” Jason questioned suspiciously.
“I-” the kid cut himself, looking down, messing with a camera that Jason hadn't noticed before. “Just a guess?”
Jason snorted. “Yeah, right. You sounded too sure,” he stated, and the kid gulped, still fidgeting with his camera. “I'll let you slide about that, for now. Tell me your name.”
“My name's Tim,” Tim answered quietly. “Uh, what's your name?”
“Jason,” Jason answered before looking around the room. “So, wanna get outta here?”
“...how?” he asked carefully.
Jason grinned. “Easy. This guy didn't really check out this room very well for someone who's trying the catch Robin. I've already found a few ways out without even picking the lock,” he said cockily.
Tim glanced around. “Oh, you mean behind those boxes...” he said quietly.
“You figured that already? Man, you haven't even been here five minutes,” Jason said a little surprised as he kicked some of the boxes out of the way, revealing a badly boarded up patchwork to the wall. “You're pretty good for an obvious 'burb kid.”
“I'm not-”
Jason laughed as he pulled off the boards, so they could escape. “You so are,” he stated as he pulled away the last board.
Tim huffed, a small rebellion against what Jason said before following him out. He could have done that too, but if this street-wise kid wanted to help him out, he wasn't going to say no. Plus, Jason was bigger than him, and even with his karate training, Tim probably couldn't take him in a fight.
