Usually, losing time would be a terrible thing, but when Dick woke up in Roy Harper's bed, he thought that was okay, and well, he was safe. Then Roy walked into bedroom with a undeniably smug look on his face, and Dick feared the worst as he sat up, sheets pulling around his waist, reminding him he was naked.

Dick did remember the sex, just not anything before that, and Roy was still smug. Not that the sex hadn't been something to be smug about, but he and Roy had been off and on for half their lives, so being smug about sex wasn't really a common occurrence anymore. No, Roy was smug about something else, and Dick wanted to know what.

“Roy,” he warned as Roy bounced onto the bed next to him, just wearing a pair of sweatpants.

“Yes?” Roy asked innocently.

“What did you do?” Dick asked point blank as Roy started kissing his neck as a distraction. “Stop that.”

Roy looked up with a look that read innocent but screamed guilty. “Dick,” he whined, “you don't want me?”

Dick's look soured as he shoved Roy to the bed and straddled. “Don't play me, Roy. What happened last night? Before the sex, because I remember that clearly.”

Roy sighed, looking up at Dick. “Okay, well, during patrol you got sprayed with something,” he stated as he holds up his hands in defense. “Don't worry, it wore off, but it messed with your head a little...”

“Define 'a little,' Roy,” Dick demanded.

“You were very easily suggestible?” That got Roy a glare. “Hey! I brought you home, so the only person's suggestions you'd have been subjected to were mine!”

Dick mulled over this information for a moment. “Okay, that explains the sex and the missing time, but not smugness. You suggested something else I just haven't found out about yet.” Roy winced, and Dick knew he was completely right. “So what did you suggest that has you so smug, Roy?”

“A tramp stamp that says 'Property of: Roy Harper' in big fancy letters...?” Roy offered with a nervous laugh.

Dick's eyes widened as he ran over the mural to check his back in the mirror. When he twisted himself in the right angle, he saw the small lettering of 'Property of:' right above the huge letters spelling Roy's name above Dick's ass. Dick took a closer look, still unbelieving only to feel relief in doing so. He looked back at Roy with a glare.

“It's just henna,” Dick stated, and Roy laughed.

Dick climbed onto the bed, pinning Roy to the bed to teach him a lesson for being such a jerk.
