iesika. She wanted something with Robin!Jason and pre-IC Robin!Tim. Well, this took a turn. Definitely pre-IC Robin!Tim, and Jason's Robin here, technically... XD Sequel to Only Friend. Ghosty Jason floats around the Batcave, looking for attention, and he gets it.

Sometimes Jason wondered why he lingered in the 'cave. It was clear Bruce didn't see him. Alfred didn't, and few times Dick was around, he didn't see him either. No, the only person that even got close to seeing him was the new kid. Jason wasn't sure he liked this kid, but after learning his story, this Tim kid had to be good.
From all that he had heard, Jason guessed it was a bit ironic that he was stalking them without being seen. After all, if Tim could do it, why couldn't he? Though, that wasn't working too well since it seemed that Tim could feel his presence. Even though he was still a bit miffed at this kid for taking his place, no one else knew he was there, and after a few weeks of being a ghost in the Batcave, Jason was craving attention from wherever he could get it.
Sometimes, Tim would talk to Jason's memorial case, like they were friends. This made Jason angry at first, but after a while, he could tell this kid really didn't have many friends if he was making friends with a dead Robin, so one time when Tim was dozing off, Jason reached out to him. He felt something which made him jump away, making him tumble into the Case.
Tim blinked up blearily, looking around after he felt Jason. From the Case, Jason wasn't sure what to do or if the kid even could see him, so he gave him a smile. That seemed to be a good idea since the kid smiled back. Which meant, Jason thought, Tim could see him.
Rubbing his shoulder a bit where Jason had touched him, Tim walked up to the Case carefully. “I- Jason...?” he asked quietly, a bit skeptical.
“Who else would be haunting this place?” Jason answered, wondering if Tim could hear him.
When Tim jumped, it was obvious he could hear Jason which just made the ghostly dead sidekick grin. “...I must be hallucinating,” Tim muttered to himself, still rubbing his shoulder. “Or I'm dreaming...”
Jason snorted. “Dream of teenagers in green panties and pixie boots often, kid?” he asked as he floated out of the Case to stand in front of Tim. “Though, I guess you do, boy stalker.”
Tim flushed. “I-! ...my dreams aren't this weird,” he murmured, a little defeated. “How are you here...?”
“Hell if I know,” Jason answered, running a hand through his hair, not like it did anything. “I've been here a while. You're the first one who's seen me or heard me...”
“Really?” Tim questioned curiously, the gears in his little freak brain obviously turning. “Why me?”
“Maybe because I touched you?” Jason offered, a little irritable. “I couldn't touch the others...”
Tim was quiet for a moment. “Maybe you're too close to them?” he tried to rationalized. “Though, I don't really know enough about the paranormal to make any-”
“Okay, stop,” Jason interrupted, before grinning a bit. “I don't want to figure it out. I'm dead, and I have to deal with that, but since your my replacement, maybe you can see me because I have to make sure you're worthy to be Robin.”
Tim frowned at that. “I-I am. Dick said so...” he answered back, and even Jason knew the kid hadn't meant to sound so childish. “I can do this. I can be Robin.”
The kid looked determined which just made Jason grin wider. “Well, you'll just have to prove it then,” he stated wickedly. “Deal with having a dead sidekick following you around a bit.”
“I have no choice, do I...?” Tim asked, a bit defeated. “No one else will believe since I'm the only one who can see or hear you...”
Jason nodded as he floated a bit. “Exactly!” he exclaimed before putting his hand on the kid's shoulder again, making Tim shiver. “Just thinking of it as hazing.”
Tim backed away a little, giving Jason a look as he rubbed some warmth back into his shoulder, thinking for a moment. “This is your way of making friends, isn't it?” he asked quietly.
“Maybe, you'll just have to find out, freak boy,” Jason announced as he floated a bit higher. “I'm going upstairs to the Manor. I'll continue our little Robin initiation later.”
When Jason left, he was sure Tim was confused as hell, and that's just how Jason liked him.
