I caught up with Batman, and there was such a big characterization difference between Winick's writing and Daniel's writing that it made me wanna gag. All the holes in and bad writing by Daniel, and he's gonna be writing Batman #700? Stupid move, DC. ...though, yet again, bad writing had given me a new character I'm quite fond of: Kitrina Falcone, Catgirl.

Like I didn't KNOW she'd call herself Catgirl by the end of that. SO obvious, Daniel, SO obvious. And Dick burning down the Falcones' place? Seriously, that's called arson, and the Falcones could have called Batman's ass on that. Dick's not an idiot, dammit.

...and I feel bad for Dr. Arkham. I really do enjoy him, immensely, along with his three crazies he keeps from the rest of the world. Oh DC, why do you make me love all these minor characters? Oh yes, because you give your BIG NAMED CHARACTERS TO PEOPLE WHO CAN'T WRITE! ...'cept Steph and Tim, they have wonderful writers, as do Harley, Selina, and Ivy. <3

Now, I have Azrael (if I feel like it, not sure I care), Outsiders (also not sure I care), Streets of Gotham, and the half of Batman & Robin to catch up on. Then it will be on to Blackest Nightmare then to the Return of Bruce Wayne and BoP v2. ...maybe I should read the original BoP... >>;;

I should probably read Cry for Justice, just to know things, but still pretending that and the Arsenal stuff isn't happening.

I haven't really been reading anything...but I HAD to read Return of Bruce Wayne #1 and...well, Chris Sprouse is such an awesome artist (loved his work on Midnighter)...and actually, Morrison's writing didn't send me into a rage like everything else he's written lately has done. Though, there were kinda some dumb spots haha BUT BRUCE. YUM.

and...I want to read the new Birds of Prey, but I saw the scans at s_d and the art...is so goddamn horrible. I don't need a lady ass in my face for every panel >:I I really like the original series though. it's amazing. I read the whole thing in two days D:

Gotham City Sirens is a horrible series, imo. I hate the art and the writing...and Harley. I wish Tommy would torture her in the most horrible way imaginable.

I am pissed about all of these assholes being alive. Hawk was a fucking menace, he deserved to be in the damn ground. I don't want to hear his fucking comments about cheerleaders belonging in the backseat when I am trying to support a woman based comic. I am pretty easy going about that stuff, I think, but he was addressing it to the female villain, and it's like, shut the fuck up before Helena kicks you in the balls you war mongering piece of shit. I don't care about his guilt, or want to watch Dove waste all her time managing his anger. It was bad enough watching his brother do it.

Why is this? I am totally happy about having lots of Flashes! What Barry said! The More the Merrier! And lots of GLs! There can be more than one of someone and Garth wasn't even really taking over for Aquaman exactly anyway.

I think Flashes and GLs are the only exception, maybe because there was always at least two with the Golden Age and Silver Age versions. And in that Garth centric Titans issue, he did say he was going to finally take up the King of Atlantis thing, holding Aquaman's suit. :/

From what I've read of Cry for Justice, you...really, really don't want to. Even aside from the screamingly horrible parts, it's just plain badly written. I suggest looking up stuff on Scans Daily instead, at least you get snark that way.
