"So why are we going through alternate universes with him?" Tim questioned irately.
"Stop complaining, replacement. It's not like I dragged you into that boom tube," Jason growled, looking around the island that obviously had Titans' Tower, and though the city sort of resembled San Francisco, there were differences and signs on the other side of the bay it was Jump City. "Where the fuck are we anyway?"
"You can read, can't you? The signs all say Jump City," Tim muttered.
Jason snarled, about to jump the kid when Dick intervened. "Stop it, both of you. We're on a different Earth, and we are going to call a ceasefire until we can get back to our world," Dick decided diplomatically, as he eyed the bay of the city. "And best way for us to get home is to probably to contact the Titans in the tower over there."
Jason rolled eyes, betting that 'Once a Titan, always Titan' even applied on other Earths. He bet that his tenure as a Titan counted even less on another Earth. Before he complained, the Titans of this particular tower came out. Dick, Jason, and Tim easily knew who these Titans were, and even though the looked a bit different from the versions on their Earth, the were definitely Beast Boy, Cyborg, Raven, Starfire, and Robin, though the three of them were not exactly sure which of them this alternate Robin was modeled after.
"Robin, one of these boys looks like Robin and one looks like Nightwing from the future, but I don't recognize this other one. Are they friends of yours?" Starfire asked curiously as she flew around them.
"Dude, they totally look like you," Beast Boy spoke up, turning into a bloodhound and sniffing around them. "And Nightwing smells kinda like you, Rob."
"I don't know them," the alternate Robin said, ignoring Beast Boy and looking them over suspiciously. "Where are you three from?"
"An alternate Earth," Dick answered as Tim stood quietly next to him, and Jason stood behind him, arms crossed angrily with a scowl on his face watching Starfire circle them. "If you need proof of who we are, would your identity suffice?"
The alternate Robin scowled. "They don't know my name," the alternate Robin stated, "so in case you do know who I am, let's take this inside."
"Robin's name is not Robin?" Starfire questioned as she followed the rest inside.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Nightwing followed Robin to another room which left Tim and Jason in the commons room with the other Titans. Jason sprawled out on the couch like he owned the place while Tim stayed standing, closer to the shadows in the room. Cyborg had some security details to take care of while Beast Boy and Starfire curiously tried to interact with Jason. Raven, preferring the shadows anyway, decided to converse with Tim.
"You are a different person then our Robin," Raven stated.
Tim glanced to Raven before looking back to watching Jason, not trusting him to not start a fight. "Yes, I am."
Raven followed Tim's gaze. "What does he have to do with Robins, may I ask?"
"...he was the Robin before me. We're not on very good speaking terms at the moment."
"Yes, I can sense a lot of anger from both of you," Raven said, pausing. "Though, your anger seems to be tempered with sorrow while his has the beginnings of regret."
Tim raised an eyebrow. "Regret?" he questioned before sliding an emotionless mask back on. "Raven, I'd rather if you didn't analysis our emotions. It's rather invasive."
Raven nodded her consent. "I apologize."
"Damn little freaks, fuck off!" Jason yelled, kicking a puppy version of Beast Boy who Starfire caught with a frown.
"You're not very nice," Starfire said sadly. "I do not know why this Robin or Nightwing would associate with you."
Jason growled. "Before that," he said with thumb jabbed in Tim's direction, "little shit came along I was Robin, so don't talk about things you don't know, princess."
Beast boy jumped out of Starfire's arms, transforming back into his normal form, rubbing his head. "Wait, how many Robins are there?!" he asked, thoroughly confused.
"Three," Jason answered while Tim said, "Four."
Jason looked up to Tim. "Another one? Bats doesn't even wait for Robins to die to replace 'em now, hm? Or did you piss him off, so he fired you?"
"I quit of my own volition, and Spoiler became Robin for a while," Tim answered calmly, though he wanted to punch Jason badly.
Jason laughed. "That chick Black Mask offed? Seriously? Wasn't she your girlfriend or something? That's rich."
That was the last straw. Tim glared at Jason before tossing a well aimed R shuriken at Jason's throat, grazing the scar that Batman had left there months earlier. Jason snarled before unsheathing his kris and pouncing the kid. Tim quickly knocked away the kris, and the both of them relied on their fists before Raven's energy pulled them apart with the utterance of 'Azarath Metrion Zinthos.'
Jason struggled angrily. "I don't understand why Nightwing doesn't just give up on you. You're obviously no good," Tim bit out, not struggling in Raven's grasps. "Raven, I'm calm now; you can release me."
Raven reluctantly let Tim go, who quickly disappeared down the hall Dick and Robin had gone down. "Will you behave if I let you go?" Raven questioned the angry youth.
Jason let out a breath through gritted teeth. "Sure, fine."
She released the dark tendrils that held Jason. "You guys have issues," Beast Boy stated before leaving for his room, frowning.
Starfire and Raven silently agreed.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
“...your Earth sounds depressing,” Robin stated with a frown.
“I guess so,” Dick said solemnly. “Though, your version of the Titans seem happy. I'm glad there's a place where the Titans get it right.”
Robin's brow furrowed. “What happened to the Titans on your Earth?” he asked curiously.
“We drifted apart, and the new team was never as close as my old team was or your team seems to be,” Dick paused. “So, how're you and Starfire?”
Robin blushed, hardly noticeable unless someone knew to look for it. “I have no idea what you're talking about.”
Dick raised an eyebrow. “Really?”
“Really,” Robin stated then tried to change the conversation. “Can you tell your Robin to stop skulking in the shadows? He's giving off a real stalker vibe.”
Tim stepped out of the shadows with a huff as Dick laughed. “Not funny, Nightwing,” Tim grumbled.
“I miss something?” Robin questioned, confused.
“Don't,” Tim warned Dick as the laughter subsided.
“Before he became Robin, he stalked Batman and Robin. We never knew until he told us four years later,” Dick chuckled. “So I guess you hit the nail on the head with the 'stalker' comment.”
Robin's eyes widen in awe. “Really? That's amazing,” he said before shaking his head. “We should concentrate on getting you guys home. You two have any ideas?”
Before Tim and Dick could make any input, the intruder alarms went off. All three of them looked at each other before nodding and running towards the common room to find a battle in full swing. Robin's Titans were fighting Red X who seemed to be getting the upper hand until Jason joined the fray, grabbing Red X's arm before he could throw another X to trap the Titans.
Jason chuckled. “Really? This what I look like on this Earth?” he questioned as he flipped Red X to the ground, disabling him easily. “I'm so much stronger than this idiot.”
“What the hell!?” Red X questioned before he rolled away from Jason. “Who the hell are you, and why do you have my face!?”
Robin ran in to see the standoff. “Red X, get out of here,” Robin stated angrily, taking out his bo staff. “There's nothing for you here.”
“Screw whatever I was going to steal. Who the hell is the doppleganger?” Red X asked before dodging an attack from Jason's kris. “Hey, he's trying to kill me! Don't you Titans have a 'no kill' rule!?”
Jason smirked. “Not a Titan at this point, and I've been ignoring that 'no kill' rule for a while,” he revealed as he pinned Red X to the ground again, “but I'm not going to kill you. Not worth my time.”
Red X growled while Jason took two Xs to bind his arms and legs. “This isn't fair!” Red X groaned.
Tim chuckled from the sideline. “You know, he must be you. He's just as whiny.”
Dick glared at Tim for starting up his fight with Jason again, but luckily, Jason ignored the jibe before looking at Dick. “Can we leave now? This world is getting a little too annoying for my tastes.”
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It had taken a few hours, but Robin was able to contact the JLA who could easily find a boomtube for the three lost and weary Robins. Tim let out a breath of relief once he was back in his world, in one of the Robin's Nests he had scattered through the city. It would be perfect, if Jason would just leave, but Tim could tell that was not happening anytime soon as he watched Dick and Jason conversing quietly in the other room.
Tim would sneak over to listen, but his brothers know him better by now; they would spot him within a few minutes. Luckily, their conversation seemed to be getting louder. “Jason,” Dick hissed, hardly heard by Tim.
“Hey, baby bird, want to know the real reason Dick's been treating me nicely as of late?” Jason asked in a sing-song voice, piquing Tim's curiosity. “We've been fucking, that's why.”
Tim's eyes widened. “You're lying!” he yelled from the bedroom.
Jason appeared in the doorway with a smirk. “I could prove it,” he said smugly. “I could tell you the way he looks just before he-”
“Jason, stop,” Dick growled angrily behind him, entering the bedroom.
Jason rolled his eyes as he walked towards the bed and made himself comfortable. “C'mon, Dickie-boy, let's give the boy a show. He'll never believe it otherwise.”
“I don't believe you because you're lying,” Tim stressed before turning to Dick. “Right?”
Tim's hopeful look was crushed when he noticed Dick avoiding eye contact, and that enough proof for Tim who quickly frowned. “No,” Tim breathed out incredulously as Dick turned an angry glare towards Jason.
Jason stretched languidly on the bed, giving a questioning look to Dick's glare. “Oh, c'mon, the kid was going to find out eventually,” Jason stated with a wave of his hand. “If Bats knows-”
“Bruce knows?!” Dick and Tim exclaimed in unison.
Jason rolled his eyes. “Duh. He noticed I had stopped killing as of late,” he paused looking over at Dick meaningfully, “which I'm only doing because you're an acrobat which makes you a fantastic lay, Dick. He stopped me during a patrol, giving me a spiel about not hurting you. I think he even wishes us luck, in his own disapproving Bat-way.”
Dick stared at Jason in shock while Tim shook his head. “No. He would have told me,” Tim said, trying not to doubt what he just said.
Jason snorted. “Really? Since when is what Batman knows also what Robin knows? Need to know basis, kid, and I guess this wasn't something you needed to know, hm?”
Tim snarled. “Shut up!” he yelled, gripping his head.
Dick frowned. “Tim, I-” he cut himself off. “Bruce was probably going to let me tell you.”
Tim looked up at Dick. “Then why didn't you?” he asked miserably. “I could have understood if you had explained it to me...”
“Yeah right,” Jason snorted. “Baby bird, you'll never trust me.”
“...maybe I could,” he muttered. “You don't make it easy.”
“Where's the fun in that?”
Dick pinched Jason's leg before enveloping Tim in a hug. “I'm sorry, Tim. I didn't mean to blindside you like this.”
Tim nodded as he leaned into Dick's arms. “I know, it's just...” he trailed off, swallowing then pulling away. “I have to go.”
Dick tried to stop him, but Jason had jumped off the bed, blocking the window Tim was going to leap out of. “Not leaving, baby bird,” Jason murmured, holding Tim still.
“Let me go,” he stated quietly. “You don't want me here, so let me leave.”
Jason shook his head. “Nope,” he said, almost cheerfully before leaning down to whisper in Tim's ear. “You know, Dick wants you. I'm willing to share if you stop being all high and mighty, especially since I can tell you want him.”
Tim flushed as Jason leaned away from his ear. “Why would you do that?” he whispered back. “All I've done is be hostile towards you.”
Jason grinned before leaned back down, his lips nearly brushing Tim's ear. “Because Dick wants you, and contrary to what you and Bats believe, I do care about him,” he paused, breathing hotly on Tim's ear. “What kind of fun could three Robins have in bed together, hm?”
Tim choked as his face became more flushed, backing away from Jason, falling onto the bed. Jason's laughter filled the room as Dick made his way over to Tim. Dick sat on the bed next to Tim, wrapping an arm around the smallest Robin before glaring at Jason. “What did you say to him?” Dick hissed.
Jason shrugged. “Nothing that would burn his virgin ears,” he paused, “much.”
“Tim, what did he say to you?” Dick asked, running a hand through Tim's hair.
“Uh... I don't want to talk about it,” he muttered.
Dick glared up at Jason who held up his hands in defense. “Not my fault he doesn't want to talk about it,” he said as a grin made its away across his lips. “Maybe he rather show you?”
Tim looked up at Jason, eyes wide. Jason grinned lewdly, stalking over to the bed, lifting Tim's chin to look him straight in the eyes. “So, what's the decision, baby bird?” he asked.
Tim glanced between Dick and Jason before sighing in defeat. “I accept your proposal,” he muttered, trying to the very last to be indifferent.
“Proposal?” Dick questioned before Jason picked up Tim and sat him on Dick's lap. “Hey! Um, that proposal didn't happen to involve sex did it...?”
“What other kind of proposal would I make, Dick?” Jason questioned before nudging Tim a bit. “Kiss him already. I want to watch.”
“Dick, I- I'm only going to kiss you if you want to...” Tim stated. “Um, yeah...”
Jason rolled his eyes, about to just shove Tim's lips against Dick's, but Dick beat him to the punch by pulling Tim to him and kissing him soundly. Jason grinned, thinking this night was shaping up after all as he crawled across the bed to join the pile of Robins.
