“I told you not to come to Gotham, Kon.”
Kon gripped Tim's hand harder as he flew them to the Tower. Kon stayed silent for a majority of the flight, and even though Tim would usually welcome silence, it was too strange from Kon, especially after the fight with Poison Ivy and what had followed.
“Dammit, Superboy, get out of here!” Robin shouted through his gas mask.
Poison Ivy smirked as she got closer to Superboy. Remembering what happened the last time he got to close to her, he kept his distance, so she could not kiss him. Unfortunately, the had not been her plan. She smiled coyly, before blasting him with some sort of pollen, throwing him for a loop which sent him crashing to the ground.
After Robin apprehended Poison Ivy, leaving her to the cops, he hastily made his retreat, dragging Superboy with him, hoping he could still, somehow, keep this mishap from Batman. Fat chance, but it did not mean he was not still going to try.
When Superboy woke from the pollen induced haze, he saw Robin in a different way. Before his brain would catch up with his libido, he used his TTK to drag Robin into a searing kiss.
“Kon-”
“Shut. Up,” Kon finally said, voice terse.
Tim actually listened, but he was still worried. Kon had kissed him, and though Tim had not mind, it was a good thing he had an antidote for Ivy's pheromones in his utility belt that he stabbed into Kon's arm a few minute into the kiss. Having sex out in the middle of a park on the outskirts of Gotham would have been a bad idea, especially since Kon did not have all his faculties at the time.
They finally reached the Tower, and Kon dropped Tim off on the roof. Before Kon could take off, Tim grabbed his arm. “Wait.”
Kon paused mid-flight, glaring down at Tim. “What do you want?”
Tim stayed quiet for a moment. “...are you okay?” he asked quietly.
Kon let himself land next to Tim. “Are you seriously asking me this?”
“Yes, I am,” he stated. “We have to talk-”
“-not really-”
“-about this because we can't let this mess with us. Then people like Poison Ivy win.”
Kon frowned. “Okay, fine. What do you want me to say? I'm pissed.”
Tim rolled his eyes under his mask. “Obviously, but the question is why?”
“Why?” Kon asked incredulously. “I just kissed my best friend who knows everything I've ever kept secret.”
“So? You were under the influence of Ivy's pheromones,” Tim said, but noticed the look on Kon's face, it dawned on him what Kon meant. “And that's not what you meant. This isn't even about the Luthor secret, is it?”
Kon ran a hand through his hair before shaking his head. “No,” he said quietly.
“Oh,” Tim said. “You mean you've-”
“Pretty much,” Kon said miserably.
“What about Cassie?”
“...I have no idea. She likes me, and I thought I could...” he trailed off, frustrated. “I don't know, but every time I kiss her, I'm going to know how you kiss, and she won't be enough anymore.”
Tim stayed quiet, and Kon got more frustrated. “Forget I said anythi-”
Tim cut him off with his lips. The kiss was different than the one shared in the outskirts of Gotham. That kiss, Kon kissed differently, in a haze, but after the shock was gone, Kon kissed back with fervor. Tim smiled into the kiss before pulling away.
“I don't want to forget anything,” Tim murmured, his forehead leaning against Kon's.
Kon gulped. “Seriously?”
“Mmhmm,” Tim hummed contentedly. “Though, I guess this will be another secret between us until you talk to Cassie.”
Kon pulled away from Tim, nodding. “Yeah, another secret...”
Tim grabbed Kon's arm, turning him towards him again. “Hey, this secret won't stay secret. I just don't want to hurt Cassie.”
“I know, I know...”
“You're thinking about the other secret, aren't you?”
“...I want to tell them, I think,” Kon started. “If they hate me, I'll still have you, right?”
Tim slipped a hand into Kon's, gripping it for reassurance. “They won't hate you,” Tim paused. “Though, I think you should expect some anger.”
“Hey! You say one thing, but-”
“No,” Tim interrupted. “I mean, they won't like the fact we kept secrets from them.”
Kon sighed. “Yeah, I guess I know how they feel...”
“C'mon, time to go talk to Cassie then the rest of Titans.”
“Sure, just promise me this is the right thing?”
Tim smiled a little. “It's the right thing, Kon. We're a team; we'll work together better with secrets like this out of the way.”
Kon snorted before ruffling Tim's hair, pausing before opening the door to the stairs. “A kiss for good luck?” Kon asked hopefully.
Tim opened the door. “After,” he said, with smirk that promised more.
And really, who was Kon to argue with that smirk?
