DCU Fanfic: Give It Back

comment_fic, and the last few are all Jason/Tim. You're all so shocked! And amnesiac!Jason. More surprises, right? XD Prompt: "DCU; Tim Drake (Red Robin II)/Jason Todd (who is Jay now? Left for Dead Man?); Space Cadet." Jason finds Tim, but he's kinda spacey, to say the least.

Once Jason had reemerged from whatever hole he had crawled out of after he tried to be Batman, he started stalking Tim around Europe. Tim was very not happy about this, but there was something a bit off about Jason, like the fact that he didn't stalk Tim Drake, only Red Robin. One night, Tim confronted Jason as Red Robin, and the only word that came to mind to describe Jason's behavior was spacey.
“That's my costume,” was the first thing that came out of Jason's mouth when Tim approached him.
Tim scowled. “You dumped it. It's not yours anymore,” he stated angrily.
Jason just frowned. “...it's the only thing I can remember, so just give it back,” he said, obviously not himself.
That only served to confuse Tim more. “Do you know who I am?” he asked quietly.
“You're the guy who took my costume, so give it the fuck back,” Jason answered angrily.
Tim frowned at that. Maybe spacey hadn't been the right word so much as amnesiac. Before Tim could dwell too much on those implications, Jason lunged at him. Tim quickly nerve struck Jason, knocking him out and catching him before he hit the ground. With a sigh, Tim decided to bring Jason back with him because it was obvious the problem wouldn't go away on its own.
