So, I got double teamed by me_ya_ri and anidawehi to write part of their film noir 'verse with Glimpse and Stained Glass Angels. But film noir is not a happy place, and I wanna write Roy/Steph, but I CANNOT write anything sad for Roy right now. DC's doing that enough for every writer ever. ;-;

So yeah. And I'm trying hard not to cop out on my Film Noir square by playing a little in the Thrillkiller'verse. I still have a Detective square...? >>;;

You could always do a hard-boiled detective thing with Roy and Steph. The detective does get the girl sometimes. :D

Milleniumrex is right, the detective does get the girl sometimes! Or, conversely, the girl gets the detective, which seems more likely in this case. I suppose you could always turn things on their heads and go with Steph as the tough detective and Roy as the one who needs her help. Maybe to find some missing mob money or something for thugs who have Lian held hostage, and Steph finds a way to save the day!... Or something. *Makes with the hand waving*

I think Detective!Steph and Needy!Roy with Lian in peril if Roy doesn't come up with... something that the Family wants, like info or some money or some secret or whatever. And Steph saves the day, the little girl and gets Roy in the process! See, everyone is happy! 8D
