When Stephanie Brown first met Jason Todd and spoke to him, Cass was with her. Steph was trying really hard not to laugh while Jason noticed and glared at her.

“What’s so funny, blondie?” he growled.

“So, does Batman pick us because of daddy issues, or does he just like creating them?” Steph asked. “I mean, seriously, does anyone here NOT have daddy issues?!”

Jason blinked at the question while Cass smiled. “Do I...still ‘own’ the most daddy issues?” she asked, and Steph just laughed harder.

“Oh, Cass, I don’t know. I know I’ve got nothing on you, but it’s all up to Jason now,” she said, turning to Jason. “So, tell us your daddy issues.”

Jason scowled. “First tell me what you girls are going on about!” he demanded.

“Sort of a game,” Cass replied.

“Yeah, I told Cass my dad was a crook and used to lock me in a closet, and she one uped me with the fact her dad shot her for assassin training,” Steph explained. “Can you top that?”

Jason looked back and forth between the two girls like they were crazy before shaking his head. “Can I count biological and adopted, because I think I can win with just adopted.”
