This is starting to turn into a habit, Talia thought sardonically as she looked at the girl who was in a coma. Another Robin that Batman couldn't save. Another Robin that Batman thought dead, but Batman proved to be wrong.

According to Stephanie's physician, she never would wake from the coma. Talia thought, perhaps, she had learned from her mistakes, but she felt the need to try and save this broke bird as well. She knew what had happened with Jason after his trip into the Lazarus Pit, but Talia found Jason quite sane at the moment, even with his plans starting to unfurl in Gotham.

Without Doctor Thompkins' knowledge, Talia whisked Stephanie away into the night. Lucky favored them that night since her father was not present at the compound. Talia easily sneaked Stephanie to the Pit and let her take a dip.

Stephanie screamed as she leaped out of the Pit then moved to curl up, shivering. Talia cautiously knelt beside to girl, checking if she was somehow still catatonic. Or perhaps, the Pit had cured her of the catatonia only to drive her back to it with the aftereffects of the insanity.

"Where am I?" Stephanie asked quietly, looking up at Talia with clarity in her eyes. "Who are you?"

Talia smiled softly; this had gone much more smoothly than with Jason. "You are at my estate. I have cured you of your catatonia, and I would like to help you, Stephanie," Talia said soothingly.

A brief flash of suspicion flickered in Stephanie's eyes before she nodded. "Okay. I'll let you help me," she replied. "Can I have some dry clothes?"

"Of course," Talia answered as she helped Stephanie up then led her to the manse, so she could do more to help another bird Batman had broken, and maybe Talia wasn't doing it for Batman anymore, but for the Robins she could save.
