kyrdwyn. She asked for Jason/Tim, and she got this little bit of an AU living in my head. It's an AU where Jason became a full time Titan after being benched for Garzonas. <3

When Jason heard Bruce Wayne has picked up a new ward, Jason was not sure what to think. He'd only left the manor a year ago, and he was already being replaced? Jason was beyond pissed, so in the middle of the night, he drove down from NYC to Gotham to find out more about this kid.
Sneaking into the manor was easier than Jason ever thought it should be, or maybe Titans training had actually drilled stealth into his head in ways Batman hadn't really been able to. Either way, he was in, and all he had to do was find the kid's room.
And that had been painfully easy too. The kid seemed to idolize Dick, and his room was right across from Dick's...though, it was also the room right next Jason's old room. Jason thought nothing of that as he sneaked inside the kid's bedroom.
The room hardly looked lived in, and Jason couldn't figure out why Alfred would let the kid still be living out of his suitcases. Things must have changed around the manor while he was gone.
"J-Jason," a small voice said from the bed.
Jason's head snapped up, looking at the kid, but he noticed the kid wasn't even looking his way. Confused by this, Jason crept closer, keeping himself hidden in the shadows of the room. Why was this kid saying his name?
"Jason, I-" the kid cut himself off with a quiet, broken moan, and Jason suddenly knew exactly what the kid was doing.
Swallowing hard, Jason moved to make his escape. He had been wrong about the kid idolizing Dick, it seemed. No, the kid obviously liked Jason enough to think about him and moan his name while he jerked off. That shouldn't have pleased Jason as much as it did, but as he left, he decided maybe he'd pay the manor a visit and really meet the new kid. It could be fun.

Date: 2011-03-27 03:54 pm (UTC)I... I KNOW. ç___ç
Not counting what they did to poor Lian and Roy (ç________________ç), the main source of sorrow for me nowadays is the Jason from Batman&Robin.
I'm totally ignoring current timeline and wallowing happily in older issues; that's what keeps me drawing/writing for DCU. :/ (Not that I ever post anything, but, uh. Details. XD;; )
Utter denial aside, I also cling to that one interview I read a while back were Judd Winick (I think?) said something about current Jason being actually Earth-2 Jason. And I know it's a silly hope to cling to, but... guuuuuuuh. If Grant Morrison's Jason really was an alternate Jason, it would all make so much more sense... ç___________ç
...and your icon is DELICIOUS. Guh.

Aw, thanks. -^^-

Date: 2011-03-27 04:12 pm (UTC)...if he did, that man has been living in my fucking HEAD. Seriously, I've said that since forever (okay, I said a different Earth, but same concept), and before that, he finally made Jason/Talia happen. ...dammit, I'm trying really hard to not put my faith in this man, and get hurt by comics all over again. >>;;
Ooh! You drew that!? Wooooow. Your art is lovely, and I think I shall be friending you now. XD
EDIT: *checks comments on that post* Tu parli Italiano! <3<3<3 Ugh, my brain is dead, or I'd say more in Italian. >>;; *is an Italian major and excited to have Italians on her LJ!*

Date: 2011-03-27 04:44 pm (UTC)But Lian... what they did to Lian was truly too much. D: I try not to think too much about those particular events, so I usually keep my canon-failed-me complaints focused around the Bats. ^^;;;
I'll go check if I still have that interview somewhere, but if I remember correctly, when they decided to have Jason back in B&R they played with the notion of him being Earth-2 Jay, which is why he's a red-head (but don't quote me on that, because it could've been the opposite: they decided he was a red-head first, and then mentioned he could be an alternate).
The concept of current-Jason being an alternate Jason is dear to me, too. It'd explain so much, set right so many wrongs... *wishful thinking is wishful*
*grins* Yup, that pic is my baby. <3 The first DCU-slash piece that I posted, too. ♥♥
Your art is lovely, and I think I shall be friending you now.
Thanks! And I'll be happy if you do! Mind if I friend you back? :D
*checks comments on that post* Tu parli Italiano! <3<3<3 Ugh, my brain is dead, or I'd say more in Italian. >>;; *is an Italian major and excited to have Italians on her LJ!*
*giggle* Yup, I talk Italian. I am Italian, actually, so English isn't my mother-tongue.
And you're an Italian major?! WOW. This... I can count on the fingers of one hand the times I met someone who studied my language, and it always excites me to no end. Everyone studies English, Spanish, French, Spanish or Japanese... but people who bother to study Italian are so few...! It's always a pleasure to meet one! ♥♥♥

Date: 2011-03-27 05:03 pm (UTC)What happened to Lian... That just didn't need to happen. She's existed longer than I've been damned ALIVE, and this pisses me off so much. I don't get how DC is gonna have a next generation when they kill off the next gen! They're just gonna keep making new characters like Damian, and though the damned brat grew on me a bit, I don't WANT a slew of new characters when we have children we could pull from that already exist! */end rant*
That'd be lovely. <3 I hope you can find the interview!
It's such a preeeeeetty baby~! <3
Hehe, awesome! My family's from Italy; both my parents were off the boat. My dad's side of the family is still in Italy, while my mom's side mostly came here to America. I've been to Italy about 4 times since I was little, but I didn't appreciate it while I was there. :/ Stupid me.
Yup! I enjoy languages in general, but Italian was a given with my family background. I love it so much, and Italian culture makes me soooo happy. <3 Calcio! Forza Azzurri! <3
Sob, last World Cup, che schifo! ;-;!And we have Italian TV (Rai Internazionale), so I watch Serie A as much as possible because I love it. XDUgh, French. I studied it for a semester because I couldn't get my Italian class. Haaaate. >>;; It makes no sense! I was either gonna spell it correctly and not speak it properly, or speak it properly and not spell correctly! It was so frustrating. >>;;
And I've studied Japanese too, and I've found that it's not that hard. The one awesome thing is, like Italian, is said like it's spelled. None of this bullshit that English and French pull with silent letters! <3
And of course you can friend me back. <3 I love making new friends! And I'd love having another Italian on my f-list since I'm HOPEFULLY going to Rome for my Fall semester. I should practice my Italian as much as possible. >>;; If the verb tenses I'm learning right now weren't kicking my ass. @__@

Date: 2011-03-27 05:32 pm (UTC)And he proposed to Timmy a second time, so that makes BfTC a must read.Oh, I love the Multiverses, too, and playing around with them is fun. I just found Countdown a lot confusing, and there were plotholes I couldn't make sense of (then again, maybe I just don't have the necessary knowledge. I'm primarily a Bat-fan, and though I like/admire lots of DCU characters, I never read all the books)
Sometimes I think DCU writers are insanely fond of killing of the "children" of the classic superheroes. See Lian. See Jason. See how they were going to kill Dick during the Crisis. See Kon. See BART. Donna's child. Etc.
I've grown fond of the Demon's spawn myself, but I'm with you when you say you don't want new characters popping up from nowhere to become the new generation of heroes. D:
I don't have it on my HD, it seems. :/ Googling around has yielded only a comment of Winnick about the upcoming B&R 23, but nothing about Earth-2 Jay D: Sorry. But I'll keep looking!
It's such a preeeeeetty baby~! <3
Awww, thanks. *proud-mommy faces inevitably ensue*
I was just about to scan another sketch, hopefully it'll be prettied-up and ready for posting soon...ish. ;)
I'm 100% Italian myself, but I know we have distant relatives living in America. Cousins of my grandfather that went to live there as kids, and now have these big, lovely families there. We aren't much in touch due to the great distance, but I met them once when I was small. :)
I studied English myself, though I had to go about it the hard way and study it on my own. :/ I'm not into Spanish or French, but I'd LOVE to learn Japanese! I find it a fascinating language, for a fascinating culture.
The one awesome thing is, like Italian, is said like it's spelled. None of this bullshit that English and French pull with silent letters! <3
THAT I like lots, too.
Rome is lovely, so I hope you get to go for your Fall semester. ;) And Italian verb tenses are like... a bane. Seriously. They're complicated like nothing else, nowhere are compartmentalized and clean-cut as English tenses. D: I'll let you in a secret: not even us Italians are that good with our tenses. *chuckles* But if you want to practice, we can exchange comments in Italian, instead than English! :D

Date: 2011-03-27 06:23 pm (UTC)Countdown got me to look at all of DCU as a whole. I really enjoyed Piper/Trickster before that went to hell. :/ I suggest earlier Titan titles, if you want to branch out from Bats. Though, I'd say don't touch any Titans title now. They're just ugh. D:
Ugh, seriously. There's Garth's kid too, so the only original Titan with surviving kids is Wally. :/
Aww, thank you anyway. <3
Yay, more art! I approve. I wish I still had an art muse, but it's disappeared. :/
I think I have more relatives in America that I haven't met, and some of my Italian relatives live in Switzerland and Germany now. (The Swiss relative sent me chocolate last time I was in Italy. <3 I hate American chocolate now. Europeans' do chocolate SO much better!)
Japanese is a very fascinating language and so polite too! And the culture is wonderful. I hope they're doing better after the earthquake, tsunami, and nuclear plant problems. :/
Hehe, thank you~! <3 ...man, I was getting the hang of present and passato prossimo and even future tense, then these fossi/fosse/ect. AND faresti/farebbe/ect. stuff pops up! Some of these tense aren't used in English anymore! ;-;
I'll totally take you up on that later. March is kicking my butt school wise. (Not Italian class, though, other than the verbs; I've never NOT gotten an A in my Italian courses, XD) If you want, you can comment on things in Italian. If they're not too long, I should understand them. *isn't too confident in her responding in Italian just yet, though, >>;;*

Date: 2011-03-27 07:31 pm (UTC)I pick up the occasional Superman & Batman issue every now and again... and it'd made my day if they actually published Tiny Titans here. Gawd, the CUTE. ♥
Ugh, seriously. There's Garth's kid too, so the only original Titan with surviving kids is Wally. :/
UGH, no. Cerdian, too?! D: Last I saw him, he was this adorable bundle of cute in Inheritance. ç__ç Poor, POOR Garth. Hadn't he gone through enough already? Is Doplhine still alive, at least? D:
I shall try looking some more. It's not like I wouldn't like to re-read the thing myself. ;D
Yay, more art! I approve. I wish I still had an art muse, but it's disappeared. :/
:/ I hope your art Muse returns soon. I've been deserted by my writing muse for more than one year, and I was dropped in the middle of an ongoing saga AND a challenge. It's coming back lately, all thanks to the Bat-fandom, and I've never been more relieved. *huggles Muse*
The art is more Tim/Jay stuff. I started with a simple sketch of unjuried!cocky!Jay and fussing!worriedbutcoveringitwithanger!RedRobin!Tim, but now it's expanded and the page's filled with more doodles. XD;;;
Ooooooh, don't let me started on European Chocolate. It's so... DIVINE. ♥ Ever tried the Nutella? It's this Italian chocolate-cream that's literally to die for. Not many of my non-italian friends know it, but I promise it's good!
I hope they're doing better after the earthquake, tsunami, and nuclear plant problems. :/
Yes, me too. :((((((( It was such a big tragedy, I've no words. I can only hope for the best, and send over prayers and positive thoughts. :(((
If you want, you can comment on things in Italian. If they're not too long, I should understand them.
That sounds like a lovely idea for practising your Italian. I promise not too use odd idioms or anything too obscure. :D

Date: 2011-03-27 08:01 pm (UTC)You guys don't get Tiny Titans!? D: It's the only DC title I'd be willing to shell out money for! Jason TODDLER. <3
Lol, of course I know Nutella! <3 I used to get made fun of when I was little because I had chocolate sandwiches instead of normal ones. I look back and think, wow, that's silly. XD ...also, I eat Nutella out of the jar with a spoon. >>;; I'm baaaaaad. Though, we don't get it in little awesome snack pack things. I remember last time I was in Italy, there was this little package that had Nutella, little breadsticks to dip in it, and peach tea? It was soooo tasty together!
*hugs Japan forever and donates when she can*
Hehe, grazie mille~! <3
Oh! I was wondering. What part of Italy are you from, if you don't mind me asking? *is curious*
no subject
Date: 2011-03-27 08:39 pm (UTC)No, no Tiny Cuties for us. ç___ç And we're so, SO behind with... just about every title. For example, The Return of Bruce Wayne Part 2 was published only last month. D:
*grins* That's good that you know it! I promise, 99,9% of my internet friends usually go all "Nutella? WHAT's that????" when I mention it.
I eat Nutella out of the jar with a spoon
Guhhhhhhhh... who doesn't?! XD
THAT's the one and patented way to eat Nutella. (and spreading it over bread, too. ♥) We get Nutella in just about every shape or size. Do you get the cool glasses, or does Nutella only come in jars in the US? And speaking of jars, they made these cute, uber!mini!jars in the Winter Season. They had brightly coloured caps, and could be hung on the Christmas tree as decorations. Cute and Yummi!
I was tempted to offer something over at
Prego, non c'è di che!
hat part of Italy are you from, if you don't mind me asking? *is curious*
No, I don't mind. I'm from Lazio, and I actually live in the outskirts of Rome. :)

Date: 2011-03-27 08:57 pm (UTC)D: That's TERRIBLE! The Tiny Titans part because ehh, right now nothing's all that great. I used to keep up with Batgirl and Red Robin, but even though I love them, I can't even get myself to bother anymore. :/
Haha. They're very deprived! Big supermarket chains tend to have it. No problem finding it, and I've even seen the occasional commercial for it. ...man, we just get the jars. *sulk* I want the cute things! *pouts forever*
The great thing about
<3<3<3
Oh, cool! ^-^ My family's all from the Campagna region. My dad's from Montella, Avellino, (and Montella's actually sister cities with the town I live in here in America!) and my mom's from Nusco. We mostly spent time there and a little bit visiting Capri. Last time, it'd rained earlier, so I didn't even get to go in La Grotta Azzura. :/ And I've only passed through Rome for the plane. ...I'm so going to be a little tourist the first few weeks, lol.

Date: 2011-03-28 09:32 am (UTC)I want the Tiny Titaaaaaaaaaaaaans. I mean, JASON TODDLER!!!!! and tiny Timmy! D: Everyone's SO cute. ♥
then again, I'm sorta broke, so even if they published it here I might not be able to buy it and that'd be even worse ^^;;
*LOL* Believe me you're better off than half the non-italian people I know... at least you get the jars! XD
I'm a bit between fandoms myself, which is another reason I really don't know what else I could offer. :/
XD I can't believe it! One of my uncles is from Avellino!!! and you'll love roma, honest. Wheter you're more of a shopping person, or a culture person, or a sport person, you'll LOVE it. ♥

Date: 2011-03-28 12:43 pm (UTC)They're like little partners in crime! And there's tiny Steph and tiny Cass now too! It's sooooo cute. <3
Lol, I download comics; I haven't bought any since Lost Days. *is shot*This is true, but while I'm Italy, I'm taking advantage of all the different Nutella things. XD I bet I could find Nutella gelato...
Aww. I'm sure you'll find someway to help! <3
Wow! Coincidence! Heee. Haha, I'm totally all those people. Maybe shopping to a less extent, but calcio makes me sooooo happy.
What do you mean I started watching soccer because the soccer players are hot? Shhh.no subject
Date: 2011-03-28 01:49 pm (UTC)XD
I know! They're this inseparable pair of mischief makers, and one can't help but gush over them. (But I am prone to gush over robins, so.... yeah.) I have the all-Robins issue
(downloaded, of course)and I think there's even Carrie in there? :DI bet I could find Nutella gelato...
Why, yes, you can. ♥ It's available only in a few ice-cream parlours, and it tastes differently everywhere because it's the homemade stuff, but it's usually delicious everywhere!
What do you mean I started watching soccer because the soccer players are hot? Shhh.
XD
You might want to go check the fields where they go training then. The official field for the Roma players is Trigoria and I think fans are allowed to go watch. :)
no subject
Date: 2011-03-28 02:11 pm (UTC)Oh believe me, I gush over Robins whenever I can~ <3 And yes, Carrie was there too! Man, I wish I could read her, but Miller stuff gives me a headache, and the art hurts so bad where she appears. :/
Heee. I WILL find it! It'll be part of my adventure in Roma~ <3
...seriously? Ohgod, I hope you're right! Totti! EEeee! *ahem* >>;; I'd need watch. I'll so look into that when I get there. <3
no subject
Date: 2011-03-28 02:46 pm (UTC)She was the one good thing about the Millerverse, I think. Her, and couple other small things that made me gush and flail. I think I'd love to see her drawn by Jim Lee. ♥
...seriously? Ohgod, I hope you're right! Totti! EEeee! *ahem* >>;; I'd need watch. I'll so look into that when I get there. <3
I'm 90% sure. :)
I never went to Trigoria myself, but I heard LOTS of people saying they go. I don't know if they just crowd around the outside fence and look in, or if they can GO in. It's probably the former, though I think that if you wait until the players are done and file out of the locker rooms, you can take pictures of them! ;)
