Feb. 26th, 2008 09:46 pm"A beta reader (or betareader, or beta) is a person who reads a work of fiction with a critical eye, with the aim of improving grammar, spelling, characterization, and general style of a story prior to its release to the general public.
To register with the site as a beta-reader and offer your beta services, you must meet ALL the qualifications below.
1. Be a registered member for at least 1 month or more.
2. Must have published at least 5 stories on the site.
3. Must accurately complete both the Profile and Preferences part of this beta section."
Oh, oh! This is funny. It's a beta reader that's still in beta phase so.... It's a BETA beta reader! *is shot* I'm gonna sign up for this and see if it works! I'll tell you if it does...
EDIT: When it says beta stage, it's not kidding! You can only sign up to beta for now. I put I'll be a beta, but that I'm on hiatus/vacation. Now, time to wait until I can get a beta outta this? Not that I really care... I've beta my own shit for my whole fanfiction career, so why should now be any different?
