After our DDR adventure, we went out to dinner to this place called 99. Apparently we're shitty at dinner table small talk. XD Until I decide to take over the conversation and verse he the history of Robins. No, for your information, I did NOT talk about Jason the whole time. I spoke of Timmy the most, actually, so there!

Other than the sad lack of bacon on my burger, things went well. Kimi-chan knows vaguely of Robins. I showed her some of Gotham Knights #43 because Jason and Babs are awesome together. She was amused. Then when we got back form dinner, I showed her comics. Young Justice is lovely, but a hard sell with just skimming, so I looked elsewhere for kicks.

Somehow, I end up in Marvel folder. Mainly, Cable & Deadpool and the suntan lotion scene. XD Then I remembered all the canonical gay in Marvel, and I introduced her to the love that is Billy and Teddy trying to tell Billy's parents they're superheroes and accidentally come out of the closet instead. XD

And after that, well, I couldn't help show her Cap/Iron Man: 70 slashy moments and counting! She's a slower reader than me, so I read the Confession out loud. >_<;; That's the second time I read that out loud to a friend. Sheesh. Getting to be a habit, ya know?

So, instead of getting her hooked to DCU, I may have in fact gotten her hooked to Marvel. Oh dash it all! ...though, she says I can send her some comics. So, what should I upload for her to read on her lappy to get her really into DCU?

EDIT: Kimi-chan owes me $10 for dinner. XD

Yay! I get to hang out with Bek on Saturday! XD Funtimes! And I get to leave the house! ...okay, yes, I've been out of the house lots for the last week, but Otakon soooo does not count! >.>;;

Drawing Robins as Sailor scouts has proved fun and somehow turned into Roy/Steph. How, you ask? Well, Steph is Sailor Moon and somehow Roy became Tuxedo Mask...so, logically, Lian is Chibi Moon! XD The other scouts? Jason is Mars, Timmy's Mercury, Dick is Venus, and Damian's Jupiter. ...I do feel like I'm insulting Jupiter a little, but ah well. <3
